How not to talk to your kids about the assassination of world leaders

I remember back in the 90's when The Washington Post ran a little piece in its Style section on how to talk to your children about Pee-Wee Herman getting kicked off of TV for masturbating in a porn house.  "He went to a bad place and he may have opened his pants," was the magic phrase.

Well I can only assume Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was on a similar errand when I heard him on cable news several times to day inanely framing the assassination of Soleimani in these terms, "this was a bad guy; we took him off the playing field."

Please don't insult the children of America, Mike.  Even small children know that if you take away one bad guy from a playing field, there will be other bad guys out there.  And they know that real war is not a game.
